Eight day clocks

Post by The Real Robert »

I buy, sell, and repair eight day wind up panel clocks.
Right now I need a wakkman seven jewel movement for parts. Anyone?
I have a nice Thomman without a case, I would like to buy a case, or sell the movement which runs like a fine clock. The case number is:7301-IL type b4.1 I also clean, oil and repair all wind up panel clocks.
I have a nice clock out of a L-19 which I am repairing and will soon be for sale. This is an authentic military spec clock. I am replacing the balance staff.

Hi Robert; I have an Elgin USAAF AN 5743-1 that quit working many years ago. It doesn't appear to ever have been opened up. What do you think it would take to make it make it serviceable? Thanks.

What it will take to get the clock going again; Money.
How much:Not over $75.00 Gringo dollars. This includes a clean, oil, and regulate job with return shipping.
The local instrument repair station charges $175.00 inflated Obama dollars for the same job.
If it needs a bunch of parts I'll give you another estimate.
When I open it up I'll let you know before starting work on it.
All work is guaranteed for a year or so, warranty void in the case of sudden death of the warrantor.
Email me with your numero de telephono and I'll call you through my computer using my truly amazing and dirt cheap Magic Jack which I love almost as much as my dogs and lady.
Any estimates that I give are never exceeded for any reason.
My snail mail address in case you have a crazy moment and want the clock looked over for a final estimate is:
Robert Steuber
1017 Pampas Drive
Grass Valley, CA 95945
The Real Robert who misses his beautiful Aeronca CHAMPION
All work performed under the watchful eyes of Karl my Rottweiler, Shelby and Happy my shared Bassett Hounds (shared with my lady Sandra)

Please be advised , I sent " the real Robert " , two clocks for repair last April , an A-11 and an A-13A , which he repeatedly responded to my requests with " I'm waiting for parts " . Last response six months ago was that he had some health problems but would return my clocks . I have had no response to numerous phone calls and letters since that time , but his phone answering machine is still active . Anyone have any contact with him recently ? Thanks , Gene
