C-85 with O-200 crank, rods and pistons. Interested in knowing what Prop those with this conversion are running. Not interested in what the TCDS says. I want to know what Prop you guys are running and what the results are.
Thanks in advance!

C-85 O-200 Conversion - Prop
Re: C-85 O-200 Conversion - Prop
We have the exact same engine in our Champ. I think we are using a 72x44 wood Sensenich. Performs well. I'll check the prop tomorrow to be sure we have a 72-44, but it could be a 72-42, I just can't remember.

Re: C-85 O-200 Conversion - Prop
I have the 72GK44 - it gives great takeoff and climb performance but doesn't add too much to cruise (I usually see about 85 mph). I routinely fly in and out of my 1400 foot strip so it fits me fine. I tried a friend's 72GK46 and noted take off and climb suffered a bit and cruise improved only a couple of mph.
