Slick mag.
This is a question about some slick mags that I have, Not finding any info on the net has my curosity up. the model # is 46-1 they have a set of shielded cables so I am thinking they might have been on a aircraft, Done a web search on the model # but there is very little info on this model #. Would anyone have any idea
on what these might have been used on Thanks Steve

Steve,
They used a Slick mag on the AO-84 engines in some gen-sets. If it's painted OD it's not for a plane.

Re: Slick mag.
That was my thought....some kind of a military gen set. We also had A65 Continental engines in our aircraft (tanker trailer) refueling units back in the 50-60's. Unsure what brand mags they had but that was my first experience with a impluse units. If I remember correctly they were single ignition rather than duel. I had to pass a test to get to my next level (grade) but it's been a long time

Thanks for the posts ,not finding any info on the net has me buffaloed. They look like a pr that was just taken off an aircraft, painted black with shielded cables, Would shielded cable have been used on a gen. It is a mystery, again thanks for the thoughts Steve
