L3-B Shoulder harness setup

Post by Doc »

Howdy: L3-B N47185 has a 4 point harness with the shoulder straps attached to an inertial reel behind the seat. I would feel much more comfortable if the shoulder harness attached above and behind my shoulders, much like my 7AC setup. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Thanks. Doc

I can answer my own query...I spoke with Wag Aero and they suggested a tube clamp for the diagonal cross tube with with a Y-harness bolted to that. It now works quite nicely. I also replaced both lap belts. Doc

I just have a slit in my headliner that I opened up to allow putting the clamp on and then I glued back the edges for cosmetic purposes.
