Federal 1500's with Dolly Wheels

Post by onceacop »

I sold my 90 Champ and will part with my beloved skis. I have several hundred hours on these and they are superb. Wide 1500's with plastic bottoms. 12" wide with Champ rigging and crust cutter cables. No welds or repairs on the skis. Original data plates with serial # and date of manufacture. The Nylatron bushings I had fabricated after the old Federal hardware was not to my satisfaction. These only require a washer inside and outside along with the axle nut to install. There is no better application. Skis were painted blue and white with non chip Dupont paint at my body shop. Never installed since. Bottoms and skag in great shape. Taxi Dolly wheels included and those required considerable effort to fabricate. If you want to change color just paint the pedestals. $1150 phone# 218-244-5658 eric

Eric - How about the EDO 92-1400s in the picture. I have a 90 HP 7CCM and need a set of Floats, Rigging and Bolt On Fuselage Fittings. - Robert

So, with the handles forward, was there a cam on the wheel that lifted the plane up onto the wheels and off the skis and then when you flipped the handle back, the plane settled onto the skis and then you could remove the wheels?
