OIL TEMP GAGE

Post by williamc »

Does anyone know of a repair facility that rebuilds the old oil temperature gage that pivots from the center and goes from 40 degrees to 240 degrees? All the new ones I see pivot from the bottom and start at 100 degrees. Thanks.

The John Wolf Co. does lots of antique stuff and newer stuff, too. Look over their site and see what you think. Check out the gallery. Call them and ask if they can do what you need done. I sent them a combo oil pressure/ oil temperature gauge, one of Wxx Axxxx Chinese products. The temp part went screwy and they fixed it. It took longer than they initially said but the price was fair to me. I would use them again. jrh

I've had John Wolf & Co. do many aircraft temp gauges over the years , SW , U.S.Gauge , Piper as well as antique car guages and could not be more satisfied . I've never sent them anything that they could not fix ! Gene
