I'm going to order up some glass tubes for the original sight gauge in the Tandem. Does anyone need some replacements? Let me know to order enough for everyone.

I received the quote and it looks like we can get the replacement tubes for under 20 bucks. I ordered some and will wait to see what shows up, I'll keep you posted.

Paul, If the tubes you are refering to are the kind that comes down from the ceiling (overhead tank of course) I need one. Let me know how much and how to get the money to you. I have a 1941 TAC.

I have your address.
I assembled mine using new gaskets and didn't like the assembly. I made new gaskets from.125 Butyl sheet and they were a little too thick. I have some .062 sheet on order and plan on using it. When I have them made I'll ship it off to you. Looks like your the guinea pig, if you don't like what you get, don't use it, you won't hurt my feelings.

Keith and Jerry,
I mailed out the stuff to you. I included both the thick and thin seals use what works best for your installation. Also I put a butyl plug in the end if you want to use it. The glass tube is Pyrex and should hold up pretty well. Let me know how they work.

I received the glass fuel guage yesterday and it looks great. I will be installing it as soon as I recover from a little surgery on my left hand. (64 stitches). I did not fimd a bill in the box and want to pay you . Please let me know the amount I owe and I will reply ASAP.
