Does anyone have the exact FAA website to bring up the AD list for Champs, 7BCM, etc.
Can't seem to locate it on the FAA site for some reason.

AD List for 7BCM
Re: AD List for 7BCM
http://www.faa.gov/
Go under Regulations and Guidelines and click Airworthiness Directives, then go to current A.D.s by make, then look under American Champion Aircraft Corp. (click the little triangle in front of it), then scroll to 7BCM (Army L-16A). It popped right up for me on the FAA website.
Here it is off my records also.
47-20-01 Yes Gascolator bowl cleaning 03/18/80
47-50-01 No Superseded by 49-11-02 01/01/47
48-08-02 Yes Cleveland wheels 01/01/48
48-39-01 No Control stick rework 01/01/48
49-02-03 No Superseded by 49-11-02 01/01/49
49-11-02 No Wing attach fitting 01/01/49
2000-25-02 R1 Yes Front and rear wood spars 07/13/01
2005-24-10 No Incorrect swaging width - control cables 01/17/06

Thanks Al,
Must have been a long day for me but somehow I couldn't bring it up the list.
Coffee's and BS is on Saturday mornings whenever you feel the urge.

Re: AD List for 7BCM
I've found that it's virtually useless to bookmark any of the pages on the FAA website as they are constantly fiddling with it and moving stuff around. For some reason they just can't leave well enough alone. So you're best long term solution is to just Goggle "Airworthiness Directives" and get there that way. The other problem is knowing who currently owns the type certificate because you're not going to see "Aeronca" listed, you must look under "American Champion" As for the actual link (at this instant in time) here it is:
http://www.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_an ... enFrameSet
One thing I have learned is that you can copy the AD list and paste it onto a blank Excel spreadsheet and the AD numbers will be hyperlinks that, when clicked will automatically pull the AD text up in your browser. As an IA I have to keep compliance lists for many aircraft and this works great for me. In fact, I've given up my T-Data subscription as I've found this works much better.

Thanks,
I've been able to download and copy the AD list on both the aircraft and the engine (200A). Looks like everything is complied with at this point.
