Anyone know the approximate cost to rebuild the standard oleos?
I am seriously thinking about the cub style gear.

it's fairly inexpensive. just buy the springs/packing/hydro fluid. at wag they are $44.99 ea and the packing is $14.23. i think univair is more expensive. i used john deere "hygard" instead of 5606. there are step by step instructions and pics at www.hanger9aeroworks.com by john baker. you should measure your springs loaded and make sure they match in length and if not shim accordingly or you plane will have the "leans" good luck. bernie
