Toe Brake Pedals for 11CC or 11BC Chief
Toe Brake Pedals for 11CC or 11BC Chief
I am looking for a set of brake pedals for an AC15 Sedan I was told that the above models of Chiefs have the same toe pedals.I also have a set of Goodyear wheels and brakes off a Sedan if anone is interested, nothing wrong with them. They are leftover from a convertion to a Burl brake set up.

Charles,
I am not sure if it will fit your requirement or not but I recently got a brake pedal for my 11AC and will be replacing one of the existing pedals on my Chief. If it is what you want, it's yours for whatever the shipping cost is. The proper drawing # for the 11AC is A-1009. If you need that one, check with Richard Creswell Just a week or so ago, he had a part matching this dog for sale. The part which I have is available as soon as I am able to replace it. In this cold weather it may be a while.

Re: Toe Brake Pedals for 11CC or 11BC Chief
Charles,
Change step!! I Got to the hangar today and found that what I have on my Chief for Heel Brake pedals is not what I thought.
I was attempting to replace the right heel Brake pedal because that brake seemed more ineffective than the left one. Since the one on the left had a different appearance than the other, I thought the right pedal might be an "back yard" part and what was causing me a small problem.
As it turns out, I seem to have two authentic original parts on their with the difference being that the left pedal has a metal riser fastened to it and the right one is only the original pedal. So summary; I have decided to keep the pedals which are on my aircraft and either remove the metal riser from the left or find that part and add it to the right.
Then I will adjust the whole brake set (which I should have done in the first place) for acceptable performance. After that long story, I have one 11AC brake pedal with cable harness which I will sell you for what I paid and split the shipping cost to you and you can get the matching one from Richard Jeffryes (I sent you his contact info) and you will have a set which presumably will fit your sedan.
Please let me know if you want to do this.

Re: Toe Brake Pedals for 11CC or 11BC Chief
Dale,
I just looked at 2-1009 and its the blueprint for the stock 11AC heel brake pedal. The Sedans had the 11CC type "toe brake" pedals, so unless what you have is the aluminum toe style brake pedal it will not work on Charles Sedan.
Charles,
If you find any extra toe style Sedan brake pedals, please let me know as I know someone who is wanting to make copies of them.
Thanks,
Joe A
