I took my c_140 seats to the local auto upholstery shop and they recovered them with the approved material I supplied for less than $100.

Another option is to order ready-made seat upholstery from Airtex Interiors: http://www.airtexinteriors.com/catalogu ... mblies.php

They are listing their 4 Sedan seats for $1190. From my own experience, I would say that they are probably the fastest way to go, but not necessarily the most satisfying nor the cheapest, of course. Bought their rear seat upholstery as a reference for making custom leather seats. Also ordered their carpet, now listed at $305. Their products looked just fine and their work was really very clean, but I guess, every Sedan is a bit different, especially after a restoration. The rear seat upholstery would have been too wide and would not have fit between our interior side panels, since we had redone those with some padding. And the carpet's edge needed to be cut off to make it fit, then the surging had to be redone to prevent fraying. Some of the carpet's snap buttons also needed to be repositioned, removed or added.

What I am trying to say is that IF you need to adapt their products to your plane, you quickly run into time-consuming work that makes the initial advantage of a ready-to-use product questionable. Visible traces of the changes may even remain. So, like hangerash said, you might be better and possibly even cheaper off with your local upholstery shop who has access to your plane and gets it right, the first time. BUT, Airtex IS another possibility.
