I would like to add a Fuel Mixture Control Cable to my 1941 65CA Super Chief with Stromberg NA-S3A1carb?
I have just had the carb rebuilt and the mixture control just needs a control cable to make it active or it needs to be wired full open. The A&P/IA wants to know if a cable exists and where to get it. He thinks it would be nice to have the mixture control fully functional since the carb has it all in place and functional.
I would be very interested in knowing what end termination device anyone has used for the mixture control cable attachment to the mixture control arm. Have you used a threaded end, or a wire cable setup with a pinch style end connection to the mixture control arm?
Is there anyone who can give me some guidance?

David,
I use cables from NAPA. They are used in marine applications, nice quality and reasonably priced. For the connection I use a AN bolt drilled through the shank washer it up to fit your usage.

Any generic type cable can be used, or get one from Aircraft Spruce.
