Urgently need data 7ac-7ccm/full electric

Post by 7gcbm »

Will pay $100.00 per copy of a legal Faa form 337 allowing a 7ccm to have a full electrical system. That means starter, battery and alternator. Thanks

If your plane was converted using SL#15 you could try adding the "optional" electrical system.
If you had converted to the 7EC via SL#56 it allows this installation using Kit 170. You might try adding this information to the 337. The changes between SL#15&56 are a slightly higher GW and the C90.
In my reference notes I have a print call-out for the battery installation. It's called print S-28 and is applicable to the 7AC and the CCM. I don't have a copy of this print. What's nice about using the factory data is that it's been approved.

Buspilotx

Paul is on the spot with the Service Letters. SL56 was issued by Champion and it converts a 7AC to a 7EC with a kit. SL15 issued by Aeronca converts a 7AC to a 7CCM.

I have sent you this morning two emails to Buspilotx@... containing the 337's I have and stamped by the FAA for the electrical system and for the alternator. They are rather large files (5 and 6 MB) so I hope the servers will pass them.
