Fabric attach screws

Hi all,

I am planning on using screws for fabric hold down on an Aeronca 7 but with a slight twist.

What I mean is that I plan to use stainless steel screws because the plain steel ones that I removed with the old fabric were very rusted.

Should I anticipate any galling, corrosion or other issues by using SS?

Dave,
I use the SS #4 screws and have no problem. If you drill new holes make sure they are the correct size for the screws or you'll snap the head off. I use a #43.
