Flashing landing lights?

Post by joea »

Anyone ever installed flashing landing lights on their airplane?

Once you get in the traffic pattern it sure stands out if you have one or both lights flashing. Was thinking of doing that on the Sedan but trying to work out switching and how to make it flash...

Thx,

Joe,

Here is a commercial solution, but I don't know how you will handle the logbook entry... :D

Richard,

Thanks much!

I found a couple that are aviation approved but boy are they proud of them! $270 or so.

Will look into these folks and see if they make a aviation approved unit!

Thx,

Joe

Federal were big public safety vendors. (Police, Fire, etc)
I don't know if they ever ventured into aviation. They make quality products that hold up in rugged environments.
