I am installing a C-85-12 in a 65TC and I want to know what exhaust design to use. I must have a carb heat muff. I don't care whether it has a muffler or cabin heat muff.
Dwg 7-88 Installation, Continental Engine calls for 4-158 and 4-159
pipes but none of those dwgs show a carb heat muff or installation.
What exhaust design is recommended? Thanks

Re: Which exhaust for 65TC with a C-85-12
Jerry,
I copied the stock exhaust. Used Taylorcraft head pipes and made my muffler around the back if the engine, with the heat muff from a Luscombe 8A. The exit comes out at near the stock location.
