Champ CFI PA

Post by Slougee »

I'm in Harrisburg, PA. Just picked up a champ but need 5 hours for insurance. I'm a big guy so I need a light weight CFI for the training. Looking to knock it out one morning.

Anyone able to lend a hand?

I was married to a girl from Paxtang (sp) in Harrisburg and am still close friends with her sister who is in Camp Hill. I get out to Harrisburg regularly, but I am 6'1" (no problem in the back seat with that) and 182 pounds, so about 190 dressed and with a headset on. What motor and fuel system do you have? How much Tailwheel time in anything and what is it? Assume since they only want 5 hours of make and model you already have a tailwheel endorsement.

Give me a call if you want 631-374-9652.

As per our phone conversation, give a call over to Grimes. Bet there are some Tailwheel experienced CFIs there. Hard to find one that is under 150 pounds though.

How did you make out on the delivery today? Did the owner get you an hour in the plane?

I drove by Harrisburg on the 8th.

I'm 5'6" 145 clothed and a CFI with 800+ tailwheel (150 Champs Chiefs Citabrias and Sedans)

Let me know if you haven't found someone
