Trim Knob/Handle

Post by Slougee »

My new to me champ didn't come with a knob, only a 3/4 length of threads.

I can fab one up easy but would like to see what the "stock" version looks like. Any one have any pics.

Thanks!

I don't have a picture here, but mine is just a plain round wooden ball about 1.5 " in diameter. If no one can help in the next few days, when I am back at the plane, I will take a picture.

I have also seen some that look like they are bakelite. Black with a ridge around the center circumference. Bet you could use one of the Stick Top Knobs. I removed mine anyway, replaced with bicycle handle bar push on grips that had hole in the center (from the way they are formed, but as kids where we installed streamers) and put Momentary Push Switches so I have push to talk on both sticks.
