Does anyone have a source and/or ideas for Goodyear discs and pucks for a ‘46 Chief?
Thanks in advance

Ed,
There's no new supplier out there for these parts. If you know the items you need you can find some new parts on the secondary market. Get a list of the items you use and you can generally find a few parts here and there.

The guy in Guam making these as aftermarket parts was asked to stop, which he did.

I gather that when the "hammer" side wears down , it can be used on the "anvil" side. hammer=3/8" and anvil 1/4" thickness. I also have heard that some have taken automotive disc brakes and cut them down to the appropriate diameter/ thickness.

True to both of your points. The thicker puck has been shifted to replace a thinner one and new pucks have been made using brake lining material
