Club Merger

Post by rkittine »

With the passing of Bob S. , I understand that the Aeronca.org site has been incorporated into this one. Actually nice to see one, larger Aeronca Group.

As a long time contributor to the quarterly magazine that Bob put out, I am wondering if that will be started back up?

Robert-

Your contributions to Robert and the Aeronca Aviators Club were crutial to the success of the group. The NAA would certainly appreciate it you would consider continuing to serve as a Moderator on the NEW Forum as well as contributing your talents in support of the magazine.

Our largest issue is establishing a relationship with the previous advertisers.

Everything is just taking time as we sort through one problem at a time.

If you would communicate wiith me at murray45822 AT google.com I would like to identify all you were involved with and your continued interest.

I have been contacted by a few people from the old Aeronca Aviators Club, that had been off the forum and hadn't check in after it was announced that the club was merging here and then when the old site completely went off. I will reach out to others that were not dual members, there and here, as I have been over the past years, and see if we can get some more over hear to join up. Although a smaller group of flyers, there was activity, that I think would be of interest to all the members of the NAA.

We are working to recover the AAC Forum and absent the ADMIN credentials are not optimistic we can get the site back up.

The data in the threads is what we would really like to preserve.

This Bulletin Board is in serious need of cleaning and that is on a task list.

We have probably another week of work on the AAC Forum.
