Roger Osborne is selling his L-16. Anyone wanting an airplane, its a very nice one!
___________
Never thought I'd be doing this so soon but I'm going to sell our L-16. It has about 10 hours on the C85-8 overhaul. It runs like a Champ. It was completely restored in '93 and has been hangared ever since. www.myplaneonline.com has pictures under Roger Osborne.
There is nothing wrong with the plane, I've just got an opportunity to build something that I've been wanting to build for about the last ten years and I don't want to pass up that chance again. There is an Icom A-22 that works very well with two external antennae that will go with it. Other than that it's a stock '47 L-16A.
It sports the official color that our nations planes had during the banana wars, yellow. It really does fly hands off. Sweet bird. 1220 gross. It has a metal prop now as opposed to the one in the pictures. It does have new three layer Temper-foam seat cushion bottoms front and back.
Located at 6A4, Johnson County airport, Mountain City, TN. Asking $33,000. I'll be putting it in TAP pretty soon if not today.
Thought I'd let you'all know. Rog
