Goodyear brake pads for sale at Aircraft Spruce for $4.50!!!

Get them while the price stays reasonable. Could be a miss-print or new pricing but they have not been this price in years!

The Goodyear brake pucks didn't stay at $4.50....!

Would anyone have the measurements of a new piston and a new anvil puck? I'll try to make some.

Great to see you on the forum!

Am in Basel Switzerland right now and on to Moscow on Friday. Flying a brand new Challenger 605 for 3 months, then back home.

I am not home anytime soon so cannot help you with the measurements, but home that someone can.

Pls have some Aquivit for me on the 24th! I will be in either Berlin or Moscow!

If I get to the airport tomorrow, I'll see if I have a set that I can measure.
Barry Jay used to sell them for around $10.00. Of course when ACSS bought BJ out the price had to go up

. Seems like someone was selling 'uncertified/experimental only' clips at one time. Maybe on ebay, I can't remember.

When the clip price got so high a machinest made a`die and produced the clip and even gave`some away. Since they have been out of production for years and had no identifiying marks on them who would know what was original or not. I worked years ago for a Spring Manufacturer and we made parts for everyone, springs, clips--you name it and there was no part number stamped on them and they were considered "original." We made cowl clips, hairpin clips by the barrel full and they were considered original by the sellers.

Any idea where to get a few of these 'orginal type' clips? I'm hoarding a couple in case I break or lose one, but it would be nice to have a few spares. When I install the skis I have to pull the brake rotor, clips, etc. off.
I do silicone them in when I have the brakes on though. I have the square hole type.

Once the GY brakes are cleaned and adjusted properly they don't work all that bad. At least in comparision to the Champs with shoes we have on the field. Mostly important for turning or a tap now and then or taxing on hard surface ramps.

I did a search on the WagAero site and all I come up with when I search for either part number or "Goodyear" or clip or brake clip is:

"There is no product that matches the search criteria. "

Glad you guys have them but they sure aint easy to find!
