Hello,
I’m going to install a radio and transponder in my champ, but I wanted to keep the look of the original champ interior. I was thinking of mounting the radio and transponder near the wing root, so that it would be out of site, and was wonder if anybody had done this or seen it done. I would appreciate any input (pro or con) about going this route.
