refueling step

Post by redbeard »

I've recently acquired a 7EC on 1400 floats and don't have access to a dock. I'm finding it fairly tricky to refuel using a ladder in the water.. has anyone rigged up some sort of step that would make this easier?

Plans and/or photos much appreciated.
Thanks .. Tom in Canada

Mike,

Sorry, I should have been more specific....had a long day yesterday.

I meant the "Photos of your Plane" section.

Here's the link:

Thanks Keith, awesome shot of the plane! Taking your suggestion, I did find a supplier for the steps that sell the bars by the foot:

Looking forward to easier top wing access! .. Tom

Tom,

Alton at PK floats was VERY reasonably priced. I checked other places and they were way more expensive. If I remember corrctly I paid $35.00 for the two steps from PK. I think I called Atlee Dodge and they want a couple hundred $$$$.

Good luck,
Keith
