Anyone travelling to Oshkosh is welcome to stop at Brion Field in Strum, Wisconsin about 18 NM SSE of Eau Claire. 2100 feet grass E-W runway.
Good place to stop and rest, nature call, etc. before the last leg to Oshkosh. We usually have a Saturday morning airport loafers or deck loungers group on Saturday morning with some fly ins. The coffee pot is on and the conversation is good. Also, the local Rod Fest car show is on this Saturday (26th) with in walking distance. I expect to be around this weekend but unsure of when I'll be attending Oshkosh. Possibly around the middle of the week depending on the weather.
