Rudder Cable Exit

Post by Paul Agaliotis »

Could one of the 11AC owners measure where the rudder cables exit the fuselage. I wrote it down and now I can't locate the note. If I could get the distance forward from the tailpost, aft side, on the lower longeron and the vertical distance from the longeron. Just about ready to assemble and put on the line at Red Sky.

Paul,

Am not at home but looked in my photos and could not find any that gave a good picture of that area on the tail.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with what you need.

Ok Paul call if this doesn't make sense. This is a 11BC

From the very bottom aft point of the tailpost
Forward along bottom tube 11 3/8"
Then up 6"

OR

from aft side of tailpost at the rudder stops forward 12 5/8"
from bottom of lowest tube up 6"

See you at MMV

Thanks Richard,
That is just what I needed. Just about to assemble Max and I can't find the notebook. I'm sure it's in Sam's garage.
Give Maryanne a hug for me and see you in McMinnville.
