Gas $1.99 a gallon
Today I paid $1.99 for 87 octane mogas "Ethanol Free". If it's still below 2 bucks when I get off work tomorrow I'm gonna buy more 5 gallon jugs and fill em all up.

Glad to see it that low.
I grew up in that part of the country and they always have "gas wars" as we called them.
The rest of the country would enjoy it at that price but having said that, we need to wean ourselves from the monster vehicles and wasting oil someday and that day needs to happen soon.
Will get off of my soapbox shortly but the sooner we start using solar, wind and nuke power, the better it will be for all generations to come.

My "flying" carbon footprint trade off must be OK then. Our G6 Ponticac (4 cylinder) gets over 30 mpg and my Ranger pickup around 20. It is a four wheel drive (first I ever owned) but we live in the hills and get some pretty deep snow at times. I'd ride my Honda 500 (50 mpg) but it gets kinda cold
in January.
I think I figured out once that my Cherokee 140 (150 Lycoming) only averages about 13 MPG.
Auto fuel is around $2.58 here today. Talked to my son in Texas last night and he expected it would go below $2 by next weekend at the present rate.
