Lady taildragger pilots

Judy on the fAA email list has started a website for lady taildragger pilots. Thought I would pass it along for everyone!

Hello all,

I'm excited to say I've finally got my new website up and running. It still has a couple of quirks, like the Discussion (Forum) page not working properly yet, but I have the basics going.

My goal is to register as many "actively flying" women tail dragger pilots as I can from all across the U.S. I'd appreciate it if you would go to www.ladieslovetaildraggers.com and take a look.

I'd also appreciate your passing the link on to other pilots you know, men or women, with the hope word will get out to other tailwheel gals.

Thanks very much. I'd love to hear your suggestions and comments.

Hello Judy,
good luck on your new adventure (web-site), I'm sure it'll do well. I'm an NAA member and noticed your posting.
Something I do like about your site is the personal touch with Bio/Photos, it's nice to "see" who you're talking to.
I'll come back and check from time to time, (even thou I'm a guy)

interesting subject. There must be quite a few ladys flying taildraggers. At the "ATC" resturant in Wilmington Deleware (at the Wilmington airport) which I think is closed now, there were HUNDREDS of photos on the walls of Women ferry pilots, standing beside T-6's, P-51's, P47's and on and on. Wilmington was one place they trained. They also flew C-47's, B-24's, you name it. It was a great place to stop and the place was literally covered with these pictures. Not only were they excellent pilots but many were VERY good looking! Quite a few died in weather related accidents, few from pilot error. They were GOOD! JC

Judy, I know two lady's who fly a Chief and I'll forward this new site to them.
jc, I used to go to the ATC restaurant when I went to Flight Safety next door there. I could spend hours looking at those pictures and all the other artifacts.
