Fabric around the front window

I am cleaning up the fuselage of the Champ in preparation for covering. The fabric at the sliding window was originally wrapped into the frame. To do so when recovering, it appears that I will need to remove the wood tracks. They are in excellent shape but appear to be glued (very well) in place. Any suggestions as to how to remove them without destroying them, or has anyone found an alternate method for attaching the fabric? Also, if worst comes to worst, are the tracks available for sale anywhere?
