Joe,
He is looking for the hub caps not the wheel covers. If Don sells these then excuse me for saying anything. I ordered wheel covers from Don a couple of years ago but had to get a hub cap from a fellow member on this site.

Yep, not sure why they call them 'hub caps' but that is what I'm looking for vs the dust covers.I have a set of Consolidaire wheel fenders that need some work but I think they would look rather spiffy on the airplane.I do have a set of dust covers that I bought from Don awhile back.
Re: Aeronca hub caps Wanted
Don knows of someone making them. He had them the last time I looked.
Here is one of his auctions: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vintage- ... 27b0cf5c6e
Drop him a note asking if he has any right now.

Flash forward to today. Could anyone update persons who might now have that part? I need two A-38520. While I am hoping, I would very much like the dust caps also. Thanks, everyone.

I bought both the Hub Caps and the Covers from Don Jones. Worked perfectly.

Dave,
For my money, Don Jones is a stand-up guy.
If you buy something for your Aeronca and you don't like it, I'll be happy to buy it from you but you'll owe Joe Abrahamson one each beer of his choice! (House rules)
Hope this helps,
Carl

Re: Aeronca hub caps Wanted
I know this is an old post but I may have some if you are still looking. I have a box of parts left over from when I sold my Champ. The new owner was only interested in buying the plane on floats so I kept alot of the spare wheels stuff. I think there is a list in the for sale section of all the parts I have. I do know there is a set of NIB brake shoes and jury struts.
