Type Club Hangar help at OSH needed

Post by bwmatz »

AirVenture 2010 is rapidly approaching and we need help. As in the past, the NAA plans to be there in the new type club hangar. We are basically there from Sunday through the following Saturday.

As you can imagine, a lot of time is spent sitting at the NAA table, selling NAA merchandise, talking to people and fielding questions. We are looking for some members to help out for a few hours at a time so those NAA Board members who will be there can take a break and see a little of Oshkosh themselves.

If you can spare a few hours during your stay and would be willing to help out, please let us know when you might be available. We'd like to put together a list of names, times and cell phone numbers. Feel free to respond here or you can email us at nationalaeroncaassociation@yahoo.com. Please don't forget to include your name, when you might be available, and a number at which we can contact you if necessary.

Thanks!

I'll be going to Oshkosh but unsure of the date. As I'm only on the other side of the state I usually make a decision based on the weather. Having said that, I'll check in when I'm there to give someone a break if they need. A sign up sheet at the table for those willing to watch the store might help too.

I would definetly be willing to lend a hand for a couple hours on saturday. so far I think that is the only day I can make it. I only live 28 miles from there. Can get ahold of me by cell. (920)-290-1859 John

Flyboy, where do you live?

I live at 6P3 just NW of Madison, WI.

What model Aeronca do you have or are interested in?

I will be busy in the warbird area with our Huey helicopter, but my wife wants to work in the Aeronca Club area. She is available Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning and some parts of Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Let us know what you need.

I plan on being there sometime Sunday to help set-up. I'm glad the ground is is wet with the rain this week. That way it won't be that noticeably with me drulling over everything.

I got my AERONCA T-Shirts washed and I'm ready to go!

I'm looking forward to meeting as many folks as posssible and having others to make jokes about Piper's with!!!
