Prop Pitch Question?

How many times can a prop be re pitched? I have a McCauley 71-46 that has been repitched once (previous owner) and I would like to get it pitched to 71-44. I know I need to call a prop shop but I thought someone on the forum might know. Thanks for looking, Mike

A prop shop foreman told me, "quite a few times if done by a reputable shop as the degree of twist is very small, IE: from a 46 to a 44 say." I had taken it there to go from a 48 to a 44. JP
