These two gentlemen have spent a great deal of time and effort lately accommodating me while I waited to be added into the forum to ask questions.
Collectively, during a pre-buy consideration out west here in WA, they have been available by both phone and email, have reviewed FAA documents and photographs of a Champ and helped sort through what turns out to be too many issues with a Champ I was close to buying. Turns out that it is illegal in numerous ways, having numerous parts that are not allowed, numerous parts that are near failure and has been altered by its present owner against both Service Letters and STCs.
Without their availability and willingness to help, I would have been in world of hurt. I've learned a tremendous amount about Champs in a short period of time and been provided with technical information to help me intelligently purchase a Champ in the future.
