L3B Trim cable details

Post by Aerco »

I'm covering the fuselage and was wondering just how the trim cable exits the fuselage. I had no fabric on mine when I got and there was nothing back there to go by.

Does anyone have a picture of their arrangement they could send me? Is it simply a bent guide tube like in the front?

Any help appreciated.

Peter,
Mine uses a Bowden housing coming out of the elevator that secures to an anchor point on the right hand longeron. I think it was a welded nut near the pivot point. I put in a turnbuckle at that point and a clevis end at the trim handle.
