We Are selling our low-time Champ after owning it for three generations, I thought I would post it in the Aeronca Association forum to give you all the first crack at it. This bird is in great flying condition, very original, stock colors, here are the specifications: 1945 Aeronca 7AC Champion N81644 S/N 265 TT1315 33 SMOH McCauley metal prop, Cleveland hydraulic toe brakes, lifetime razorback fiberglass fabric, KX – 99 Navcom, external antenna, intercom, auto gas STC, new seats, Light Sport, Always hangered, reliable bird, all logs from day one, fresh annual. $25,000 OBO. I am selling my zero-time overhauled spare engine here are the specs: Continental A65 – 8 tapered shaft, all new millennium piston and cylinder assemblies. Case, crank, mains, connecting rods, lifter bodies all overhauled, new pistons and pins, all new gears, new camshaft, new cam followers, no accessories, $9000 OBO no core required.

What engine does the airplane have on it?

The airplane has a stock A65 engine. I have some pictures if you want give me an email address.

She is not a show winner, but not ugly either, she has it where it counts. I have not posted pics to this forum - if there is a way I did not immediately see it.

What you do is upload the photos to a host on the internet, then copy the link to a post here and they show up.

Use the "img" icon at the top of the page when you are posting.

Jeez the months go by fast. Did not even remember seeing this post.

There is a gent interested in your Champ and I may be coming down to Falcon field in the near future to take a look at it for him. Looks like a good honest flier in the photos!

I have reduced the price of my 1945 Aeronca 7AC champ I previously posted for $25,000 to $22,000 and reduced the price of the spare engine to $7,000, less than my cost!

Todd,

I had a guy ready to buy your plane several months ago, then he could not get a "yes or no" answer from anyone and gave up.

Is it REALLY for sale now? I was even ready to come down to Mesa and inspect it for him...
