Been a long time since I have seen one on here, but looks like we got one again.

Just deleted the spammer and all of his posts.

This one was from India...

Problem is that we are getting big on the internet, and at the top of the group for anything Aeronca related, so the bulletin board is a target for spammers.

Oh joy, just like I needed more work to do! :)

Thanks Dennis.

Right now I have 20 pages of spammers to go through and delete... and thats 100 registrations per page.

Thats the problem with having a successful bulletin board, is that it attracts the spammers.

Working on a cure for it right now...

Well everyone, its gotten worse.

The bastards went one step further today. I knew that they were trying and have been trying for a couple of weeks now.

They hacked my password to the board and my email this morning. Of course I was out flying and did not get to the hotel until 6 pm so could not do anything about it.

Now my passwords on everything have been changed to something that is very difficult to hack and just as difficult to remember! :)

Lets hope it does not happen again!

Joe !
Had to hack myself to come up with my password and name (do you offer that service if we forget who we are and where we are going ??) but here i am back!
Next thing is to get back to selling the floats so I can fix 66H, (and prolly even the plane) now that it's warming up again...
Cheers

2000's with complete 15AC rigging including elevater trim tab and rear fuselage fittings...hatches...plus big Macauley prop from Burl if desired.
(Overloaded 100 # ...on purpose...got off in half our lake (at sealevel))

Need to fix my wings and getting old so once it's sitting on wheels may even have to sell that too ..
Don't mind; getting old, have had fun!

Do you want me to email you?

Thanks Bill, Looking for floats for my Champ. Got the Chief covered, but I need Floats, Riggings and Fittings for my 7CCM. Either EDO 92-1400s or 60-1320s, and I will get Bruce's STC.

Cheers - Bob
