Aileron Hinge spacers

Post by Aerco »

I am helping with the repair of a 7ECA wingtip. When the aileron was removed, some aluminum spacers (thick washers) fell off unnoticed from the hinges. Any idea in which order they fit into the hinge brackets? Which side, which hinge? There seems to have been three of them. I can't find an appropriate drawing.

Any help appreciated.

Peter,
Thet go on each side of the 2 O/B aileron hinges. I also have found them at the bellcrank mount hinge point. They just keep the bearing centered in the aileron attach. They should be kept tight to the bearing by the attach bolt. Don't let any of this stuff run loose.
Champs and Chiefs have the extended inner races that perform the same function.
