Thanks Paul. That is what I thought it was. That brings the second question. Has anyone a copy of any manuals or drawings for this brake? Also it apopears to have a pair of modifed cleveland brake pad anvils and pads replacing the traditional pucks.
Well I dis-assembled them and they were assembled in what I would consider an odd manner. They used an MS28775-218 1/8" thick x 2 1/4" ID O-ring in the cylinder bore end cap which stretches that O-ring to it's absolute limit to fit it on the end cap.
Then the cleveland style disc pad holders also seem out of place. A more conventional looking puck was used to fit between the pirton and the inboard disc pad.
It would sure help to have a parts illustration/drawing for this 280-222 Caliper assy. I suspect this 7FC came with the optional Goodrich 2-883 brakes.
No luck in finding the break down. The manual wasn't mine and must have found a new home.
This old information is getting harder to find. If you run across any pick it up, it could help sombody later on. I've submitted 337's to the FAA using these old manuals, it's approved data. They questioned one and asked if I had this manual referenced, (I did). I responded "of course I do, you should also, correct?". He told me "we must have it somewhere", and signed block 3.

The carrier/lining assy is still available as are the dynaseal for the bleeder screw and the packings which I have converted to MS28775 numbers based on their parts manual size listings.
