7CCM For Sale

Post by rkittine »

After 54 years of flying, the first hour in an Aeronca 7AC, it is time to close the log books. My 7AC - CONV Champ is for sale. It is listed on Barnstormers along with my EDO 1400 Floats with rigging and accessories for a Chief.

Good flying to all. Bob

Bob this is a post I don't enjoy reading. When a plane or a pair of headsets are sold because the wings are being hung up, I'm deeply saddened. I'm sure a lot of thought has preceded this decision and I hope you are at peace with it. Blue skies.

Thanks Richard,

Sure is not by choice. When I got medically retired from my PART 121 position I was really young and after 7 years got my first class medical back, but this will not happen at this age. In any case, yes I am OK with it and have two aircraft on lease-back that I can get a little time in albeit not PIC and a friend with a 172 that I can also fly with him along. So the Champ is better in the hands of someone that will enjoy it and fly it.

I will stay active in the community though. I have the Champ for Sale as well as my EDO Floats and a set or refurbished skis with dolly wheels.

Cheers, Bob
