Seaplane door pictures

Post by flyingjack »

Looking for pics of seaplane door: specifically the hinge attachments and shock bracket attachments- closeups of where they attach to frame and door. Also, pics of whatever type of latch is used. Need to install on 48 7DC in CO.

Thanks

I have a copy of the 337 paperwork that was approved for changing the door on a Champ to open vertically, but for the life of me cannot find where I have filed it. Don't despair it is somewhere and I will keep looking.

I have already sent him the 337 Richard. I am not near the plane and will not be for a while, but what he is looking for is close up pictures of the attachment points. Piston to Door, Piston to Airframe, Hinge on the door top and the latching mechanism.
