c-75-12 tachometer
c-75-12 tachometer
Looking for a C-75-12 tachometer, I have a A-65 tachometer, will trade or buy your Tachometer out right. Rotation Issue one turns left the other turns right.
Re: c-75-12 tachometer
Same with the "-8" engines, which turn the opposite direction as they do not have the accessory case that "-12s" do.

Brink-
What direction of rotation do you need as viewed from the rear of the instrument?
I have several used tachs and rwo NEW, one of each, 0-3500 rpm

Richard,
The -12 engines use a R/H rotation, or clockwise, when viewed from the face. You can put a 90 degree drive to reverse the tach, but some of the old Waltham tach have a different drive adapter.

Brink-
I have these tachometers and another NEW right hand rotation looking at the face that isn't pictured.

Refer to them 1 to 3 from left to right

Richard,
I think Brink wants the center one. Looks like the range markings are pretty close. That's just my opinion, best to let him decide.

Re: c-75-12 tachometer
Hey Richard, a friend at the local airport had one clock wise rotation bought it for his Ercoupe thought his tach was bad, but it was the shaft, kinda wish he would have called me, that’s the first thing I check, I had a extra shaft, and I traded it for his old tach, installed his new one, a real bitch on a Ercoupe cool part about the old tach the time on it is a few more hours than my 65-8 tach. And the green, yellow, and red lines, are about right I really appreciate you offer, and response, thank you Richard have a great holiday.
