Fly-In at Waterbury, CT (N41) on October 24, 2020

Good afternoon all,

Organized a fly-in for Saturday, October 24th at Waterbury Airport - N41 in Plymouth, CT. It is a nice little grass strip with two runways (2,000'x135' and 1,600'x250'). We will have portages-potty brought in and will have a lunch as well (either burgers/dogs or bringing in a food truck or two depending on interest). Some of us will be camping out overnight on the Friday and/or Saturday, so you are more than welcome to join us if you'd like. Will be doing a pumpkin drop contest as well, maybe spot landings, etc.

Hoping to see some Aeroncas there! Please let me know if you'll be coming so we can get a head count for food planning, etc.

If it goes well, we hope to turn it into an annual event and make it even better over time.

Weather is looking decent (dry at least) for this coming weekend. I will be camping out the entire weekend, along with a couple others. Many coming just for the day - either by air or road. Would love to see some Aeronca's show up - let me know if anyone in here plans to attend.

Will be providing a lunch and we'll have a pumpkin drop ($5 entry with the winner taking 50% of the pot).
