franklin engine mount
Hi there everyone..Been a while. Bought a sedan project and was wondering where to get a engine mount for a franklin, or how I can attain one. Also, even though it is in the type certificate, it still had a stc from maine aero. Who would have the stc for the franklin conversion now ? I,m not going t...

Sedan for possible sale
I have a sedan that was involved in a plane swap. At the last minute things changed and we may end up with the sedan back in our laps. The new plane deal is dependent on getting rid of the sedan. It is a 0-300 engine with 340 hrs. Interior 7-8 outside is 6-7, nice but a few cracks(shiny paint) with ...

Air filter media
Hi. Have a chief with a air maze filter. If the filter media is shot can you buy just the filter material and not the whole frame? Cheapest replacement I found was 100 bucks. That seems a lot more then I remember paying a few years back. If I need to replace the whole she-bang who sells them at thei...

eiseman mags
Does anyone have a servicable AM-4 eiseman magneto for sale? The threads on the main shaft stripped off on mine, so if anyone has parts that would work also. Thanks....218-213-6030 or airknocker48@yahoo.com I can't afford a new one at this time.

seaplane prop
Hi everyone! Am looking for a seaplane prop on my 85hp chief. I am currently using a 71X46 which is way to much pitch for a seaplane. Its a good cruise prop, but turns minimum static. Would like a 74X40 or close to that, so I can turn it 200 rpm or so faster. Contact John Goritchan 218-213-6030 or e...

sedan master cylinder
Hi everyone! My sedan's right side master cylinder needs replacing. I guess we have goodyear brakes. The ones with the 'buttons" that hold on the disc. Anyway, is there a part # for the whole master cylinder assembly, and where is a good place to buy areplacement?? thanks!

Re: camshaft
paul- not sure...no rust or pitting. Not sure of the grind angle on the lobes...flat vs tapered. I suppose i could send it out to aircraft specialties and have them take a look. would i get a couple hundred for it, if it was sent back in good shape?

McCauley 1b90cm 7440
Hi guys.. Anyone know if this would work on my C-85 chief? I'm looking for a seaplane prop and not sure if the 74 inch is a problem. There was a good site I found that discussed all the propeller combos, but missplaced it.

Re: Chief ldg gear question
I thought the only difference between the bc and the cc was some diagonal tube stiffeners near the firewall or somewhere up there, for float applications (stiffened it)

Re: Ventral fin drawings
Hi.. I made a ventral fin 2 years ago and turned out fine. Making the fin is easy, the attach points can be a bit confusing. I have the drawing and can get pictures on how I attached mine if you need that. 218 213 6030 Boris

Re: FLOAT RIGGING FOR TRADE
Hi. Still do not understand how you are going to put 1320's on a chief. They are not allowed in the type certificate. plus with your 85 h.p. are you going to be a little underfloated? I know you want to get going but.... wait for 1400's unless you can legally install 1320's in canada.

Mc Dowell starter
What parts are different from a taper shaft 65 hp to a 85 flange McDowell starter. Can you make up the different pieces? I see stephan has one for sale and wondering if it is possible to adapt it to a 85 hp..Mine is on floats and I would like a starter and not add the 25-30 lbs of an electric system
