7AC Top Cowl

Any help greatly appreciated. We are very in need of a hinged top cowling for our 7AC. Wag is out of stock so right now Univair is the option. Would be interested in a good used one if anybody has one or knows of one. Has anyone purchased one from Univair and if so how was the fit? Also, if anyone k...

Re: Bellanca 7ACA

Thanks! Atleast until you see the half a engine up front when opening the cowling. Looks like they meant to put a baggage compartment up there but got distracted and forgot....

Re: Bellanca 7ACA

I have to admit that I too still have the 2 banger on front of mine also. As mentioned above, cruises at 80+, climbs out about 450-550 fpm at sea level, and in the 850 hours we have owned it have only had one plug foul out. Right over the airport thankfully, never quit, but got really really weak. A...

some window parts help

Need a little help guys. I am in desperate need of some window parts. I am working on a 7ACA Champ. It has the sliding front left windows like the 7AC. Mine had a round type of cloth material where the windows met to avoid scratching when being opened or closed. I cannot find it anywhere. Was this s...

Neat rotator there Nate. I have been trying to figure out a way to do this without the 300 or so $$$ for the one sold through Bogart. Hope you don't mind, but I may try to copy yours. By the way what is the wing to in the background, love that red.

Champ

Good morning Mark. See that you are at J-22 Air Ranch. Who is it that got the champ? I was there in Nov. and brought a Pacer to Timmonsville for my uncle that he bought from Mr. Maddox. Really enjoyed the little time I had at the place and talking with the gentleman with the Ercoupe at the end.

Finally got it all straightened out. It is fully covered with Valerie for approx: $1075.00 a year. Which amazed me due to his hours, approx: 12,000 hours total time and roughly 130 in type. I guess it is the nature of the beast with a Pacer. This one has yet to exhibit any off the wall habits, BUT, ...
