Jody, duct tape is an approved repair material. I am still looking in my new AC 43.13. I just know it has to be in there somewhere....Joe, just remember to bring a camera! HeHe. I wonder how Lloyd(Old Fart) is going to hold up with this crowd!! David J.

We have several different colored rolls, for when the Stearmans come up. Usually @ 65 of them. A few go home with the appropriate color on the bottom wing. *Note* The only ones that lose it have been wheel landed, not 3 pointed.

Duct tape

Post by bwmatz »

The fabric on the bottom of my right wingtip got a mysterious cut in it at Middletown in 2006. We found some yellow duct tape...er 200mph tape at a local auto p...er aviation supply store and it's STILL on there. That stuff is stronger than the fabric!
