a stooge is a mechanical quick release that lets the pilot releases the tail tie down from cockpit

they were built under Bellanca in 1971. it was probably a real slow poke with the Franklin engine.with the 85 it goes real nice

i have a 1971 7aca champ,and was wondering how many others are out there. recently converted it to a c-85-12 and it really made a big difference

i have a c85-12 in my champ and am looking into putting a skytec starter in. i do not have an electrical system so i'll be running it off of a gel cell under my seat. has anyone tried doing this?

talked to americian champ. dale the test pilot comfirmend it is prop horminics. just try to stay out of that rpm range if possible
